A bit of an escape from the pixels... some whimsical girls and native plants. I've got the greatest frames for these, truly hilarious. Think hunting lodge meets victorian parlour meets 60s wallpaper...

I have a new exhibition coming up that I'll be posting images for... it's at Thistle Hall once again, opening on the 20th June. It's called 'Disconnect' and it's about the total division between the scientific, quantifiable way of looking at the natural world, ie carbon credits, 'natural resources', forestry blocks etc, versus the poetic or intuitive way of interacting with it. 'Disconnect' also refers to the separation between us and the world around us, highlighted through juxtaposing images of humans, flora and fauna in unexpected, surreal or anthropomorphic ways.
There's drawings, prints and maybe some sculptures, we'll see.
